“He must live in a parallel universe where the days are 48 hours long and the week is 14 days” explains Ustad Zakir Hussain about the award winning Pandit Arvind Parikh. This documentary is produced to coincide with his Parikh’s 93rd birthday celebrations. He looks back at his good fortune to have been a close friend to Ustad Vilayat Khan (1928-2004) but also have him as his musical teacher. Juxtaposed to his musical career is his love for entrepreneurial success. Between his sitar and a highly successful business lies his own spiritual quest for surrender.
