On Darbar’s 15th anniversary, the COVID-19 pandemic fundamentally derailed our work and we lost about 50% of our income due to the closure of arts venues. The seismic changes that face us – the impact of the global pandemic; Black Lives Matter protests; a potential no-deal Brexit; the harsh reality of climate change threatening the planet we inhabit – have offered us a chance to reflect on the way we live now and the way that we want to live tomorrow. We are buoyed by the hope of new vaccines and what they may offer in terms of the return of live audiences to arts venues.

Our small team is most proud of our online subscription channel platform, Darbar Concert Hall, with over 200 pieces of content offering you the finest in Indian classical music and dance.
