Guided by Kanwal Ahluwalia this is a deep release class designed to relax, de-stress and rejuvenate you at every level.
Slower than a dynamic practice, but still challenging, the class has more of an emphasis on deep stretches, alignment and mindful breathing. A mixed level class, beginners can take advantage of the slower pace to build their awareness and skills whilst more experienced practitioners can deepen their practice. Take some time out for yourself – get grounded, get relaxed and get ready for the new year.
Essential info for class: Please wear loose and comfortable clothes for practice, in an area free of obstacles and refrain from a heavy meal for 2 hours before practice. Yoga can help improve your health and well being, but it’s important to listen to your body and work at your own level and explore your own limits. To reduce the risk of injury, never force or strain yourself and stop if you feel pain or dizziness and seek medical advice if necessary.
Medical disclaimer: Not all exercises are suitable for everyone. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health professional before starting or changing any exercise program or making a lifestyle change. This is particularly important if you are overweight, pregnant, nursing, regularly taking medications, or have any existing medical conditions. Pregnant women should not practice any twists or abdominal tightening asanas and should refrain from practice for the first trimester. Yogabliss assumes no responsibility or liability for any injuries or losses that may result from practicing yoga whether online or face to face.
