Tarang is a UK-based music ensemble that consists of some of the finest young performers. A unique characteristic of the ensemble is the combination of North and South Indian music traditions, with Western instruments and elements of performance. It creates a concert experience rarely seen elsewhere in Indian Classical music performances. By combining this performance concept with dynamic compositions composed for Tarang by masters of the classical Indian music genre like Veenai Jayanthi, the ensemble presents a refreshing form of contemporary Indian classical music.
