Here's the first episode of the IndianOil Now Hear Us Digital Concert Series dedicated to supporting younger Indian Classical Musicians during the pandemic. This episode features the wonderfully talented Hindustani vocalist Aditya Modak. In this episode he performs Raags Nat Kedar, Rageshri Bahar and Sohoni. He also talks about his experience acting as the protagonist in "The Disciple", a feature film rooted in Indian Classical music, directed by the acclaimed director Chaitanya Tamhane. Aditya is accompanied by his close friends and contemporaries, the much-in-demand Swapnil Bhise on tabla and Siddhesh Bicholkar on harmonium.
