In April 2018 Pandit Kushal Das graced the Darbar stage together with Pandit Yogesh Samsi and they performed this fantastic rendition of Raag Jhinjhoti. Born to a family of reputable musicians - Pandit Kushal Das, being the youngest has had both the privilege of having his elders as his initial gurus as well as the challenge of outshining them. His unique style is reflective of the multiple influences and schools of music that have instructed his development. His deft fingers navigate the complexity of the raga with beautiful accompaniment from Pandit Yogesh Samsi, the highly regarded disciple of Ustad Allarakha Khan – one of the greatest ever tabla players.
