An unforgettable raga night with candlelight, on the iconic sitar and tabla. Panesar is one of the world’s finest sitar maestra's. Panesar brings new energy to this special concert with her masterful interpretation of Indian ragas. Panesar takes you on a true and epic journey of Indian music of micro bending and sublime improvisation. She is accompanied on the tabla by Rayatt, one of the world’s finest tabla masters, bringing his bold, dynamic and rhythmic grooves to the music.
In the heart of London, bathed in the warm glow of candlelight, an intimate musical setting perfectly complemented the walls of St. Martin's in the field.
Roopa Panesar and Gurdain Rayatt delivered a compelling concert casting a spell over all who gathered. Panesar showcased her skill on the sitar, navigating through Raag Nand Kauns and Raag Shahana. Rayatt's tabla complemented Panesar's sitar, creating a rhythmic synergy.
The atmosphere was filled with a sense of magic as the music played, creating a connection between the artists and the audience. It went beyond just a concert – it felt like an intimate conversation in the language of pure, melodic brilliance, making a lasting impact on the night.
